If you just took delivery of a Model Y, congratulations — now protect it before the new-car shine wears off. The Model Y arrives with carpeted floors, an unprotected touchscreen, and an empty console tray; Tesla's minimalist approach to interior trim means finishing the cabin is left entirely to the owner. The current Model Y is also the Juniper refresh (Tesla's 2025 redesign), and it changed enough of the interior that older Model Y accessories don't always carry over cleanly. One fitment check before you order: this is a two-piece set covering the 16-inch front and 8-inch rear displays, and its listing names Juniper Premium and Performance. The Model Y Standard has no rear screen and may carry either a 15.4-inch or 16-inch front screen, so Standard owners should read what actually fits the Standard before buying any protector.

Matte versus glossy is a real trade-off, not just a spec sheet line: the matte finish here trades a small amount of edge sharpness for meaningfully less glare when the sun hits the display at a low angle, which matters more on a car where climate and navigation controls live entirely on the touchscreen. The Model Y's expansive glass roof and large windshield make cabin heat buildup worse than a typical sedan, not better, so a reflective sunshade earns its keep even if you're not usually a sunshade person. At $18.99 it's the cheapest item here by about $9, and it folds small enough to live in the glovebox permanently instead of getting left at home on the one day you actually needed it.

Before you buy: confirm which Model Y you actually have

Here's the part new owners miss: "2025 Model Y" doesn't automatically mean Juniper. Tesla sold down the previous-generation Model Y in some regions well into 2025 before Juniper fully took over production, so a car delivered in 2025 could be either generation. The fastest way to tell: Juniper has a full-width light bar across the dash, a redesigned center console with a different tray shape, and rear-seat ambient lighting the older car doesn't have. Everything above is listed for the 5-seat Juniper, floor mats included: that set is cut for it rather than adapted from the older body. If you shop for wheel covers, aero pieces, or any other exterior part down the line, Juniper and pre-Juniper parts are frequently not interchangeable — get in the habit of checking your generation first rather than assuming "Model Y" alone is specific enough.

None of this is exciting — it's screen protection, storage, and shade — but it's the stuff that's annoying to retrofit later and cheap to get right on day one.
