Chargers, adapters, and gadgets that work with any electric vehicle.

This hub covers what doesn't care which badge is on the car: home charging, portable charging, adapters, dash cams and tires. Charging is where most of the money and nearly all of the confusion sits. Two facts decide more purchases here than anything else. First, amperage is a wiring decision, not a shopping one — the National Electrical Code treats EV charging as a continuous load and sizes the circuit at 125% of the charger's draw, so a 48A unit needs a 60A circuit and usually an electrician. Second, no charger can push more power than your car's onboard charger accepts. Connector type is the other gate: NACS or J1772, with adapters in both directions.
