About ChargedMods

ChargedMods exists to cut through the noise in the EV accessory market. The category is full of drop-shipped knockoffs, listings that lie about fitment, and "best of" pages that rank whatever pays the most. We do the homework a careful buyer would do — and we tell you what we actually know.

What our guides are

Our guides are research-based. For each one we work through manufacturer specifications, listing details, materials and construction claims, fitment data down to the model year and trim, and current pricing — then we say plainly which product suits which buyer, and where a cheaper option gives up nothing that matters.

What that means in practice: when we say a spoiler is real carbon fiber rather than carbon-look plastic, that comes from the manufacturer's own specification, and we say so. When a seller states something we can't independently confirm, we attribute it to them rather than repeating it as fact. Every price is shown with the date we recorded it, because prices move.

What we don't claim

We don't claim to have physically tested every product we write about, because we haven't. Plenty of sites imply hands-on experience they don't have; that's the exact noise this site was built to cut through, and we're not going to add to it.

You also won't find invented star ratings or review counts here. If we don't hold a number, we leave it out rather than fill the gap with something that looks authoritative.

How we make money

ChargedMods earns affiliate commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you. Commission rates play no part in what gets recommended or how products are ordered within a guide — several of our picks are the cheapest option in their roundup. Our hubs

We organize guides by vehicle and use case: Tesla, Rivian, Ford EV, Hyundai & Kia, and universal products that work across all EVs. Fitment is where most EV accessory purchases go wrong — the Model 3 Highland and Model Y Juniper refreshes broke compatibility with a lot of parts still sold as fitting "Model 3" or "Model Y" — so we organize around it and flag those traps in every guide where they apply.
