Mud flaps, covers, racks, wraps, and protection.

Exterior parts divide into protection and appearance, and they deserve different scrutiny. Protection — mud flaps, bed liners, tailgate covers, paint film — is usually justified on function and cheap next to repairing the panel it protects. Appearance parts are taste, and the thing to verify is material honesty: “carbon fiber” very often means a carbon-look pattern printed on ABS plastic. That is perfectly fine as a look, but it should not carry a carbon price.
