Best Kia EV6 Exterior Accessories by Year and Trim (2026)

The EV6's styling is already aggressive out of the box, so most exterior accessories for it are less about looking better and more about stopping damage: mud flaps, rain guards and sill protection for the daily commute, a cover and a spoiler for storage or looks. The catch is that "Kia EV6" covers several different bodies.

The short answer: the EV6 splits at 2025. Kia restyled the front and rear bumpers, the cladding and the side sill molding for the refresh, so parts that mount to the bumpers or wheel arches need a listing that names 2025. Within 2022-2024, the GT and most GT-Lines take their own mud flaps; the Light, Wind and First Edition share one set.

Which EV6 do you have?

If your EV6 is a 2025 or later, the original BestEvMod set will not fit: its listing says so, and Kia changed both bumpers, the cladding and the side sill molding for 2025. Order the 2025-on cut instead, or confirm each part individually on a GT-Line or GT.

BestEvMod's mud flap set is the accessory to buy first on a 2022-2024 Light, Wind or First Edition. It's inexpensive paint and rocker-panel insurance, molded to the EV6's wheel arch rather than a universal shape, and it fits with push pins instead of drilling. The listing says it doesn't fit 2025 models, and as a non-GT set it isn't for the regular GT-Line or GT, which is why the two other cuts below exist.

No budget door-sill pick this update

The sill protector that held this slot was pulled from Amazon between updates, and we are not replacing it with the first thing that ranks. Every EV6-specific sill set listed today is fronted by a marketplace reseller rather than by the brand or by Amazon — the same arrangement that let the last one vanish without notice — so the slot stays empty until one is stocked directly.

Sill protection is still worth doing. The door sill is the most scuffed surface on any car, since every shoe, boot, and bag corner drags across it on the way in, and a peel-and-stick set is the cheapest way to stop that wear from showing. We would rather leave the slot open than send you to a listing we expect to rot.

The listing doesn't say how it mounts, ships without instructions and recommends professional installation, which is worth taking seriously for a trim piece that has to sit dead straight to look right. Gloss black ABS also won't match every EV6 exterior color exactly; on lighter paints, expect the spoiler to read as a deliberate black accent rather than a color-matched factory part, which is either the look you want or isn't.

Not every accessory needs a paragraph of trade-offs. This stainless-steel, EV6-branded plate frame is a $20 detail that finishes off the front and rear plates instead of leaving the stock black plastic frame (or none at all) — simple, and it won't rust the way a cheaper frame will after a few winters.

How to choose

• Match your year and trim, not just your model: Kia restyled the bumpers and cladding for 2025, and within 2022-2024 the GT and most GT-Lines take different mud flaps from the Light and Wind. Read the fitment line, not the headline.
• Prioritize what you touch or expose every day: Mud flaps and door sill protection pay off on every commute. A car cover or spoiler is a lifestyle choice, not a protection necessity.
• Tape-on vs. in-channel is a real trade-off for rain guards: Tape-on is easier to install and remove; in-channel sits flush but is fussier to fit without marking the paint.
• A cover is only as good as the car underneath it: Wipe the car down before covering it — dust and grit trapped against paint under a cover can create fine scratches over time.

Kia moved the 2025 refresh to a NACS port on every trim but the GT, which kept CCS1; either way, a charger with the other plug needs an adapter.
