Tesla ships the Model 3 with carpeted floors and nothing else. The carpet stains permanently the first time you drive through a slushy car park, and the factory offers no all-weather option — so a moulded liner is the fix, and it is the cheapest damage prevention on the car.

The complication is that "Model 3" is now two different floor pans, and the boundary between them is not where most buyers assume. The 2024 Highland refresh reshaped the seat rails, the centre console footprint and the footwell contours. A liner cut for the older car does not simply look wrong in a Highland — it can sit proud of the floor and interfere with the seat tracks.

So start with the car, not the product.

Not sure which you haveThe cutoff is a build month, not a model yearHow to tell

The cutoff is October 2023, not 2024

This is the part that costs people money. Highland production began around October 2023, which means a car badged as a 2023 can be either generation depending on when it was built. Buyers who reason from the model year alone — "mine's a 2023, so I need the 2017-2023 set" — have a coin flip's chance of being wrong.

The G-PLUS listing is unusually direct about this, and it is worth quoting because most sellers are vaguer: it states the set fits "2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 Sept Old Style" and "Not Fit 2023 Oct-2024 New Model". That is a seller drawing the line at a month rather than a year, which is the only way to draw it accurately.

Check the build date on the sticker in the driver's door jamb. It gives you the month and year the car was actually assembled, which is the number that decides which mats fit.

Best overall: YITAMOTOR 6-piece

YITAMOTOR Floor Mats Fit for 2024 2025 2026 Tesla Model 3 Highland 6PCS

Best overall — Highland

YITAMOTOR Floor Mats Fit for 2024 2025 2026 Tesla Model 3 Highland 6PCS

  • Listed for the 2024-2026 Model 3 Highland only, cut to the cabin contours rather than trimmed from a universal blank.
  • High-density TPE the listing states is free of latex, cadmium, lead and PVC.
  • Anti-slip retainer clips and a raised lip, with a textured surface to stop cargo shifting.
  • Six pieces. Shake out and hose down rather than vacuum.
Check price on Amazon →$98.99 — price as of 2026-09-16

Pros

  • + Listed for the 2024-2026 Highland only, so the fitment claim is narrow enough to trust
  • + Six pieces, covering the footwells and the cargo areas most owners actually use
  • + Anti-slip retainer clips plus a raised lip, rather than a flat mat that creeps
  • + TPE stated free of latex, cadmium, lead and PVC

Cons

  • Does not break out which trims it covers, unlike the BurtyPokie set
  • $98.99 (as of 2026-09-16) is mid-pack, not the cheap option

This is the set most Highland owners should buy. The fitment claim is specific to one generation — which, in a category full of listings claiming a decade of model years, is the single most useful signal a seller can give you. Six pieces is the sensible middle: the footwells where the damage shows, plus the cargo areas, without paying for seat-back mats you may not need.

The clips matter more than they sound. A liner that keys to the factory anchor points cannot creep forward under braking, which is the actual safety argument for buying moulded mats over a universal set.

Mixsuper Floor mat for Tesla Model 3 Highland 2024 2025 2026 2027

  • 3D laser-scanned for the Highland, edge to edge, in TPE.
  • Raised edges to trap snow, mud and spills rather than let them run onto the carpet.
  • TPE the manufacturer rates for extreme temperature swings.
  • Drop-in fit with no tools; rinse to clean.
Check price on Amazon →$64.99 — price as of 2026-09-16

Pros

  • + Cheapest Highland-specific set here at $64.99 (as of 2026-09-16)
  • + 3D laser-scanned for the Highland, edge to edge
  • + Raised edges that contain spills rather than spreading them
  • + Drop-in, no tools

Cons

  • The listing does not state a piece count, so what you get is less clear than the alternatives
  • The seller explicitly asks you to confirm model and specification before ordering — read that as a nudge to double-check

If the YITAMOTOR is more than you want to spend, this does the same core job for around $34 less. The trade is disclosure rather than material: it is TPE, it is laser-scanned for the Highland, but the listing is thinner on what is actually in the box. That is a real difference when you are trying to work out whether the cargo areas are included.

BurtyPokie 10-Piece TPE Floor Mats for Tesla Model 3 Highland 2024-2026

  • The only set here that spells out trims: 2024-2025 RWD, Long Range and Performance, plus 2026 Standard, Premium and Performance.
  • Ten pieces — driver, passenger and rear mats, trunk, frunk and sub-trunk, two rear seat-back mats and two console side anti-kick pads.
  • Flexible TPE with raised edges and deep grooves.
  • The listing asks you to lay the driver mat flat and re-check pedal clearance after every clean, which is the right instruction to follow.
Check price on Amazon →$129.99 — price as of 2026-09-16

Pros

  • + Ten pieces: footwells, boot, frunk, sub-trunk, two rear seat-back mats and two console anti-kick pads
  • + The only listing here that names the trims — 2024-2025 RWD, Long Range and Performance, plus 2026 Standard, Premium and Performance
  • + Tells you to re-check pedal clearance after cleaning, which is the correct instruction and rarely given
  • + TPE with raised edges and deep grooves

Cons

  • $129.99 (as of 2026-09-16) — about $31 more than the six-piece
  • Ten pieces is more than a commuter car needs if the boot stays empty

Buy this one if you carry things. The seat-back mats and console anti-kick pads are the pieces nobody thinks about until there are shoe marks on the back of the front seats, and the frunk and sub-trunk liners are the difference between wiping a liner and shampooing carpet after something leaks.

It is also the set to buy if you have a 2026 car and want its trim named rather than inferred. Every other listing here says "Highland 2024-2026" and leaves you to assume the Standard and Premium trims are covered. This one states them.

The premium option: 3W with metal pedal

3W Floor Mats with Metal Pedal for Tesla Model 3 Highland 2024-2026

Premium — Highland

3W Floor Mats with Metal Pedal for Tesla Model 3 Highland 2024-2026

  • Edge-to-edge TPE set cut for the 2024-2026 Highland.
  • Front mats carry an extra storage recess, and the set includes a metal pedal the manufacturer describes as the non-slip upgraded version.
  • Rinse or wipe clean; the maker states no odour at high cabin temperatures.
  • 3W states a lifetime warranty against delivery damage and quality defects.
Check price on Amazon →$259.99 — price as of 2026-09-16

Pros

  • + Edge-to-edge TPE cut for the 2024-2026 Highland
  • + Front mats include an extra storage recess
  • + Ships with a metal pedal set, which nothing else here includes
  • + 3W states a lifetime warranty against delivery damage and quality defects

Cons

  • $259.99 (as of 2026-09-16) — the most expensive pick here by a wide margin
  • You are partly paying for the pedal trim, which is styling rather than protection

This is the one to buy if you want the pedals done at the same time and would otherwise buy them separately. Judged purely as floor protection it is hard to justify against the YITAMOTOR at a third of the price — the material is the same TPE, and the protection difference is not $161 wide. The warranty and the pedal set are what you are paying for, and whether that lands depends on whether you wanted the pedals anyway.

If you have a pre-Highland Model 3

Two routes, depending on whether you want the cargo areas covered.

YITAMOTOR Tesla Model 3 Floor Mats Full Set Custom Fit 2020-2023 All-Weather Cargo Liners Rear Cargo Tray Trunk Floor Mat Interior Accessories, Black

  • Listed for the 2020-2023 pre-refresh car, laser-measured to its cabin.
  • Three-layer construction the manufacturer describes as non-deforming.
  • Raised edges with distributed channels to capture water and grit.
  • Full set: driver, passenger and rear mats plus front-trunk and rear-trunk cargo liners.

Pros

  • + Full set: footwells plus front-trunk and rear-trunk cargo liners
  • + Laser-measured to the 2020-2023 cabin
  • + Three-layer construction the manufacturer describes as non-deforming
  • + Raised edges with distributed channels

Cons

  • $109.99 (as of 2026-09-16) — nearly double the G-PLUS footwell set
  • Listed for 2020-2023, so it does not cover the earliest 2017-2019 cars the G-PLUS set does

The split is straightforward. If you only want to stop salt and slush ruining the carpet you look at, the G-PLUS set does that for the least money and has the most precise fitment statement of anything on this page. If you also load the boot, the YITAMOTOR full set is the one that covers it — but check your year, because it starts at 2020 while the G-PLUS goes back to 2017.

Pros

  • + Covers 2017-2026 in one listing, which genuinely simplifies things if it fits
  • + TPR and XPE rubber, and the cheapest route to three-piece coverage across either generation
  • + $104.49 (as of 2026-09-16)

Cons

  • Three pieces — footwells only, no cargo coverage
  • A single fitment claim spanning a generation change deserves more scepticism than a narrow one

Worth thinking about rather than dismissing. A listing claiming to fit 2017 through 2026 is claiming to span the Highland break, and that is exactly the kind of claim this guide keeps warning about — but the reason it can be true here is the format. This is a three-piece set of footwell mats, and the footwell floor is the part of the cabin that changed least. A moulded liner claiming edge-to-edge coverage across both generations is making a much harder claim than three mats that sit in the footwells.

So the rule is about the shape of the claim, not the year range alone. A wide year range on a simple flat mat is plausible. A wide year range on a full moulded liner set, with retention clips that have to line up with anchor points that moved, is the one to walk away from.

If you want a liner cut to your exact car, buy the set that names your generation. If you want one set that will follow you across a car change, this is the compromise, and it is honest about being three pieces.

How to choose

Already sorted for mats and looking at the rest of the car? Our Model 3 Highland exterior upgrades guide covers the spoiler and mirror-cover decisions, including which parts are real carbon fibre and which are a printed pattern. If you are shopping for a Model Y instead, the Model Y floor mats guide breaks that car out by generation the same way.
