Through a full winter, the WeatherTech's raised edge is what stood out. Deep slush and a genuinely muddy dog-park visit stayed contained in the footwell instead of migrating onto the carpet at the edges — the kind of thing you don't appreciate until a liner without the tall lip lets a puddle escape under hard braking. The Kagu's 3D-laser-scanned fit is genuinely tight — no curling at the edges, no gaps around the console — and the layered TPR-over-XPE-foam construction is noticeably softer to stand on than WeatherTech's rigid core. It handled the same winter without complaint; the only place it gave ground was in a genuine downpour, where the shallower lip let water get closer to the edge before the anti-skid backing held it in place. For most driveways and commutes, that's a non-issue.

Installation and keeping them clean

Both liners are drop-in — no clips, no adhesive, no tools. Lift the factory carpet mat out, set the new liner in its place, and you're done in under a minute per row.
